In order to be able to introduce our project, we decided to resort to the use of artificial intelligence, as it allowed us to realise it concretely with the budget we had available.
Nevertheless, Marco, one of the co-creators of the project, although not an artist, put his heart and soul into making all the generated artwork valid and of high quality.
With the experience he gained from years of working on different graphic software to bring content for our social pages (you can find more details on ‘about us’), he reworked the artworks for many hours adding details and removing imperfections typical of generative ia.
This is one of the artwork we are most fond of, not least because for us, Umbra's story is one of the most beautiful in the project.
Generated towards the end of 2022, we liked it right away because it perfectly represented our idea of the character, as a man who in childhood had nothing and no one, who as he grew up managed to find a Master who became what was closest to being a family.
But due to a major event that led to a clash with his Master Joshua, he found himself alone again and without his left hand.
For this reason, it is also the artwork that has received the most changes over the years, mainly because we decided to keep the character design from that distant 2022.
This is the latest version of the Battle of Zarta card template.
We wanted to keep the template very simple, so the antique-style frame seemed the most suitable choice.
Also, with the artwork enclosed in a frame resembling a parchment or a torn sheet of paper, we wanted to convey a sense of antiquity and of a story being told.
